I need a name
Obviously my parents took care of naming me 30 years 3 months and some odd days ago, but I am trying to start selling some crafts and bags and accessories that I'm making, and I have no clue what to name my business. I'm pretty much focusing on 1. baby accessories (diaper bags, changing pads, bibs, burp cloths etc.) 2. mommy accessories (handbags and aprons mostly) 3. bows & headbands. I'll be selling the bows right away, they are the fastest and easiest to make. I may or may not start a website, but since I'm starting this hobby on a shoestring budget, I'm definitely not doing one today. I'm really really open to suggestions for a sophisticated, yet kiddish sounding name. About the only names that I've come up with is Bauble Head and Bootsie and Me. So anyway, please please please leave a comment with a name for me! I'll be forever grateful!

Wow, deja Vu...Heather sent me an email a few months ago w/ a very similar question about her business. She kinda came up w/ the name (Little Belles Boutique)on her own but I liked helping.
Let's see. I like 'Bauble Head' a lot, actually. Or you could do a 'film' reference like calling it 'Zuzu's Petals-A Baby Accessory Shop' (I mean, who doesnt like It's a Wonderful Life?). Give me some time...I'll think of some good ones.
I am not good at coming up with names. I'll think about it. Ashley definately helped me with mine.
It's so cool, we do the same thing. Have you been doing this for a while? I wish so badly that I knew how to sew better. I make burp cloths and bibs but I struggle and it takes me forever, ripping seams that I've just sewn because they aren't quite right.
I've been wanting to get a website started too. I have no idea where or how to go about it though. And I really have no money to get it started, so I need a free site. I have an account set up on Etsy. I have yet to list anything though.

'fanciful' name- Wonderland Baby Accessories
'yummy' name-Sushi for Babies or Baby Sushi (though that might conjure up some odd mental images...LOL)
'silly' name- Goose and Gander Baby Accessories
'???' name- Edom and Ave Baby Boutique (I called Adam and Eve this when I was little)

I don't know about a name, but I do know of a website you might look into to sell your stuff. It's www.etsy.com. You can set up a store (kinda like ebay or amazon), but it's for handmade things.
