I wanted Rami to win!!

Okay, so I've been obsessed with Project Runway this season. I've watched previous seasons, but this year just pulled me in and I HAD to watch. I have fallen in love with the predictable drapey dresses that Rami Kashou produced for nearly every episode. I loved the wearability and beauty of Jillian's clothes. Christian Siriano was the sassy elf who always provided something dramatic and usually unwearable. I was really rooting for Jillian to knock everyones socks off. But her collection looked like it was all over the place and I could NOT get over this one sweater with horizontal stripes and puffy loopy sleeves matched with a simple short skirt. It was hideous! I wasn't the only one because I tivoed the show and for a tiny split second you can see Michael Kors talking to Victoria Beckham as that particular piece is being brought down the runway again, he cringes and says something that looks like "thats ugly" or something. I can sort of read lips, but it was so quick, don't quote me on it. I also wasn't a huge fan of this gold lame' dress with ropework on it that she made. It looked cheap. Rami had mostly beautiful clothes, with some interesting choices. I, for one, would not have made bright pink pants or used teal so freely, but thats me and my boring self. There was this basketweave thing that he used on a couple of pieces that really was interesting. But my favorite was an antique lace floor length dress. The placement of those lace strips was so flattering to the model, and it just looked pretty. And of course Christian. His collection looked like the sisters and cousins to his last look on the regular season. Everything looked like it stepped out of his inspiration painting, except this really "fierce" brown and cream puff dress. IT was gorgeous and if I weren't pregnant and 2500 lbs overweight, I would totally buy it. I really hated his feather dress the first time I saw it, but after running the Tivo back and looking at it again, it's probably what won the competition for him. It was super detailed and, though its unwearable, it really is stunning.

So thats how I spent my Wednesday night.

I'm sick!

What is worse than morning sickness? Having a cold on top of it! Well, I call it a cold, it feels more like the flu, but I can't be sure its flu. I have fever and chills, body aches, and a barking cough. Not pretty! To top it off, the only medicines I can take are Tylenol and Sudafed! Fortunately I have an OB visit tomorrow, so hopefully she can prescribe me something to alleviate this crud!

I just needed to vent!

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth

For the few people who actually follow this blog, I'm back!

I've been busy, doing life type stuff, and I just realized its been close to 4 months since I've posted!!! Insane.

Firstly, I found out December 30th that I'm pregnant again. Our anniversary is December 31, so that was a nice little surprise. I'm not saying I'm unhappy about being pregnant, because thats very much not the case, but its taken me a couple of weeks to get excited about it. We both have been like "if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't-whatever". We've been planning a trip to Disney world with a lot of friends and family for the end of September of this year, and I'm due at the beginning of September. So we're still trying to figure out what we're going to do. I'm having to pay for all of my health care ala carte so things are VERY expensive. The good thing is that we'll get a tax credit for the multiple thousands of dollars that we've got to put out, but still!

I've been suffering with morning/afternoon/evening sickness for a while now, and I'm losing weight again (like I did with my first pregnancy). I'm hoping to get over this pretty soon, because its really horrible. I don't feel like eating, but when I get hungry I get sick, and no foods really sound good. Blah! Smells are getting to me really really bad, so my sweet husband has had to prepare all the meat we cook. Just the thought of meat's smell is sickening, much less the actual odor. But last Tuesday we got to see the little bean with a little flickering beating heart and got 2 pictures to take home. It was adorable because baby V was with us at the ultrasound visit, and she said "thats a cute baby in the water!". I didn't think she was old enough to actually get it, much less put together that the baby was in a bag of waters!

Well that's all for today!
