Cheaper than cheap "Anywhere Spray"

I'm always one to try to figure out the cheapest way to get quality things. One thing that I always buy is Clorox Anywhere spray. I use it constantly! Well, I have been watching my favorite BBC America show, "How Clean is Your House", and I've taken a lot of their suggestions on how to clean your home without using chemicals. One thing that I picked up from the show is that Tea Tree oil is a non toxic bug repellent and disinfectant, vinegar cuts grease, and isopropyl alcohol is a disinfectant. Add all those things together with water and Voila! you have "anywhere" spray. And it smells really clean too. I use 2 cups water, 20 drops tea tree oil, 1/4 c vinegar, and 1/4 c alcohol. If the vinegar is too potent, I'll add a little more tea tree oil. A little goes a LONG Way on that. Enjoy!

Thanks so much for the great recipe. I love the idea of anywhere spray too...I currently use watered down pine sol ( I love the smell) on all my kitchen surfaces but using something more 'natural' definitely has it's pros.

I watched 'How Clean is Your House' the other day on BBCA. It's been a while since I've seen an episode. It was one where a lady's birds were allowed to 'fly free' instead of live in cages and her entire living area was COVERED in their feces. I've never been so grossed out...but watching the place get clean does make you feel so much better. Ha.

I'm going to get me some tea tree oil this weekend when I make a trip to 'town'. There is a health food store that I love there called the 'corn crib' and I think it's probably one of the only places in Lebanon that will have it.
I recently stocked up on the whole line of 'baby bee' products from Burt's. I absolutely LOVE that scrumptious apricot baby oil and the baby lotion. Now they also have a 'hair and body' wash for baby that also smells like honey, like the lotion.
